Need dress alterations and sewing repairs at home
I’m looking for a reliable local tailor or seamstress to come to my home for dress alterations and minor sewing repairs. The job involves taking in a dress at the sides, adjusting the hem, and fixing a loose zipper. I’d also like a quick fitting to ensure the measurements are accurate. Preference is for someone experienced with delicate fabrics like satin and chiffon, and who can provide a rough estimate after assessing the garment. The work should be tidy, with minimal visible stitching, and completed within a couple of hours. Availability for a daytime appointment during the week in a quiet, well-lit space would be ideal.
