We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Head of Admissions to join our Admissions team and play a key role in driving pupil enrolment, strengthening parent relationships and ensuring a seamless admissions experience from initial enquiry through to enrolment.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Admissions , the Assistant Head of Admissions will support the strategic and operational delivery of the school's admissions function. The successful candidate will combine strong commercial awareness with exceptional relationship-building skills, ensuring that prospective families receive a professional, responsive and engaging experience throughout their admissions journey.

This is a highly visible role requiring excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder-management skills, together with a genuine understanding of the expectations of families choosing an international school in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Admissions in developing and delivering the school's admissions and enrolment strategy.

• Manage the admissions journey from initial enquiry through application, assessment, offer and enrolment .

• Drive enquiry-to-enrolment conversion through proactive follow-up and effective relationship management.

• Build strong, trusted relationships with prospective parents and families , providing a consistently high level of customer service.

• Lead and support the Admissions team, ensuring high standards of performance, responsiveness and professionalism.

• Monitor admissions data, pipelines, conversion rates and enrolment trends, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date admissions records and ensure all processes are completed efficiently and in accordance with school requirements.

• Work closely with Academic Leadership, Marketing, Finance, Student Services and other key departments to ensure a smooth admissions and onboarding process.

• Support school tours, open days, parent events and other admissions activities designed to engage prospective families.

• Ensure prospective families receive accurate and timely information regarding the school's curriculum, admissions criteria, fees, policies and procedures.

• Support the implementation of effective CRM and admissions systems , ensuring data integrity and appropriate follow-up.

• Identify opportunities to improve the parent journey, admissions processes and overall customer experience.

• Ensure admissions practices remain aligned with KHDA requirements and applicable UAE regulations .

• Represent Arcadia British School professionally and positively at external events, education fairs and community activities when required.

• Contribute to achieving the school's enrolment and retention objectives .

About You

We are looking for an experienced admissions professional who is commercially aware, highly organised and genuinely passionate about education .

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience in school admissions , preferably within a British curriculum or international school environment.

• Experience in a senior admissions, admissions management or customer-facing leadership role .

• Strong knowledge of the Dubai/UAE education market and an understanding of the expectations of international families.

• Demonstrable experience managing admissions pipelines, conversion and enrolment targets .

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills.

• Strong commercial and analytical ability, with confidence interpreting admissions data and performance metrics.

• Experience leading, coaching or developing a team.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.

• Strong IT skills and experience using CRM, admissions or student management systems .

• A professional, solutions-focused approach and the ability to build effective relationships with parents and internal stakeholders.

• High levels of discretion, integrity and professionalism.
