This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality specialist care across dermatological and minor surgical services in a community-based setting. The successful candidate will work autonomously while contributing to service development, patient safety, and clinical excellence. Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of dermatological conditions, including benign and malignant skin lesions
- Perform dermatological and plastic surgical procedures, including:
- Skin lesion excisions
- Skin cancer surgery
- Minor reconstructive and cosmetic procedures (where appropriate)
- Provide high-quality outpatient care in line with best practice and governance standards
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation, consent, and follow-up care
- Contribute to service development, pathway optimisation, and quality improvement initiatives
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient patient care
