As part of this commitment, reasonable adjustments will be made during the recruitment process for candidates with disabilities or long-term health conditions. Important notes about your application process
1. Prepare your application documents
When applying, please make sure you have the following documents ready:
• CV / résumé in English
Your CV should clearly present your education, experience, and skills. Please also review our guidance on what to include in your CV here.
• Official transcript(s) of records
You must upload official transcripts showing all completed higher education courses and grades. If you have studied at more than one university or programme, please include all transcripts from all higher education institutions.
Transcripts must be provided in English or a Scandinavian language.
• If you are still studying
Please upload an unofficial or temporary transcript of your current studies.
⚠️ Applications submitted without the required documents cannot be considered.
2. Important information about transcripts and grading
As part of the application, you will be asked to provide your average grade. This must be supported by your official transcripts of records.
Please ensure that all relevant transcripts are available before starting your application, as they will be used to verify your academic results.
3. Application integrity and accounts
To ensure a fair and transparent recruitment process, each candidate is allowed to have only one account.
Creating multiple accounts, resubmitting applications after rejection, or attempting to bypass assessment results in disqualification of all related applications.
If you need to correct or update your application, please contact us via the contact form.
4. Communication and email settings
To make sure you receive all updates about your application, please add View email address on graduateships.com to your safe senders or whitelist in your email settings.
If your email provider allows it, adding the entire domain @equinor.com is recommended.
5. Background checks and transparency
We expect you to openly offer all relevant information about yourself during the recruitment process. Background checks are performed on all final candidates, and all permanent and temporary hires will be screened using relevant sanctions lists to ensure compliance with sanctions laws. When applying for a job in Norway you will be asked for information on affiliation to high-risk countries for a security assessment.
6. Immigration and sponsorship requirements
Please note that recent changes to the UK immigration rules have tightened the criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route. If you require Equinor UK to act as a sponsor in order to undertake this role, please note Equinor UK cannot guarantee that the role is eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route. If, following assessment against the applicable Home Office requirements (including skill and salary thresholds, and any role specific lists), it is determined that Equinor UK is not able to sponsor this role, any conditional offer of employment may be withdrawn. This does not affect candidates who already have the right to work in the UK, without the need for visa sponsorship from Equinor UK.
