TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in South Birmingham (Solihull), who are looking to appoint an Arabic-Speaking Teaching Assistant (EAL). The school prides itself on creating a supportive learning environment where pupils from all backgrounds are encouraged to grow in confidence, develop independence, and fully engage in school life.

The school is looking to take on a full-time Arabic-Speaking Teaching Assistant (EAL) on a long-term basis. The successful Arabic-Speaking Teaching Assistant (EAL) will be supporting Arabic-speaking pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping them access learning, understand classroom instructions, and develop their English language skills, while working closely with the class teacher to support pupils socially and emotionally within the classroom.

The successful Arabic-Speaking Teaching Assistant (EAL) will have:

• Fluent Arabic language skills

• Experience working with children within a UK school or educational setting

• Experience supporting pupils with EAL (desirable but not essential)

• A patient, reliable, and adaptable approach

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• The ability to commit to full-time hours, Monday to Friday
