This Manchester based in-house legal team is seeking a commercial solicitor for a newly created post which will support the head of legal closely. Candidates with between 2 and 5 years' PQE and with strong commercial experience are likely to be at the right level for this job.
You'll enjoy sensible working hours, good control over your own work-life balance, and excellent day-to-day/project work to get your teeth into - a good opportunity for a commercially focused and confident lawyer. The company is within the IT sector although technical knowledge and industry speak is not required - this job is all about commercial contracts, and your attitude to client advice and risk is going to be all important. The legal team is valued by internal stakeholders and has good visibility across the company. You will need to be confident and able to run matters on your own to an extent. The expectation is that you are in the office for at least 2 days per week. You will be trusted and treated like an adult. The salary is competitive and the benefits are really good and go further than most.
