Ad-Hoc Van Driver - Lowestoft (NR33)

£12.71 per hour | Ad-hoc work

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an Ad-Hoc Van Driver to join our client in Lowestoft (NR33) , delivering pet food products to residential and commercial customers across the East of England .

This is a great opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for flexible, ad-hoc work.

The Role

• £12.71 per hour
• 0600 start time
• Minimum 6 hours paid per shift
• Shifts can be long, with days of up to 12 hours
• Typically 15-30 deliveries per day
• Delivering pet food products to residential and commercial addresses
• Deliveries across the East of England
• Ad-hoc work, generally 1-4 days per week depending on requirements
• Using a delivery app to accurately record completed deliveries
• Following a planned delivery schedule and route

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

• A reliable and professional van driver
• Smart and presentable , as you will be representing the company at customer premises
• Comfortable using a smartphone or delivery app
• Able to follow schedules and manage multiple deliveries throughout the day
• Customer-focused with a polite and professional manner
• Flexible and available for ad-hoc assignments
• Prepared for physically active working and potentially long days
