Hours: 39 hours per week, with regular overtime opportunities available

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Metalwork Fabricator to join a growing manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing a range of metal products and structures to high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret technical drawings, fabrication plans, and specifications
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal components using appropriate tools and machinery
Perform MIG and TIG welding to required standards
Carry out quality inspections to ensure products meet company and customer expectations
Work with mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and other materials as required
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Follow all health & safety procedures and UK workplace regulations
Support on-site installation work when required
Work collaboratively with colleagues, supervisors, and project teams

Requirements

Essential:
Proven experience as a Metalwork Fabricator or Welder Fabricator
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Competent MIG welding skills (TIG welding advantageous)
Experience using fabrication tools and machinery
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good understanding of health & safety practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Right to work in the UK

Desirable:
Relevant engineering or fabrication qualifications
CSCS card
Forklift licence
Experience in architectural or structural steel fabrication
Full UK driving licence
