Shop Operative - Irlam
The Best Connection - Manchester are currently recruiting for a Shop Operative. The role is based at a busy reuse shop based at Boysnope Wharf, Irlam, with occasional cover required at sites in Altrincham and Oldham. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off
Hours: 07:45 - 18:15
Salary: £12.71-£13.45 per hour (rate increase after 12 weeks worked)
Duties Include:
- Serving customers and providing excellent customer service
- Operating the till and processing card payments
- Receiving and organising deliveries
- Cleaning and preparing furniture for resale
- Merchandising stock and maintaining shop displays
- General housekeeping and shop maintenance
Requirements:
- Previous customer service experience
- Full UK driving licence and own transport
- Friendly, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
