Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Inspection & Testing Electrical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. We are looking for a Inspection & Testing Electrical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same. Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression. As the Inspection & Testing Electrical Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services. The Inspection & Testing Electrical Engineer will be responsible for: * Carry out EICR inspections on commercial and industrial electrical installations * Perform Fixed Wire (Periodic) Inspection & Testing in accordance with BS 7671 * Identify faults, defects, deviations, and non‑compliances within electrical systems * Correctly code observations using C1, C2, C3, and FI classifications while maintaining clear and auditable testing records, schedules, and certification * Work in strict compliance with BS 7671, Electricity at Work Regulations, and company procedures To be successful in this role, you must have: * Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Installations (or equivalent) * 18th Edition BS 7671 qualification * City & Guilds 2391‑52 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent * Proven experience delivering EICRs and fixed wire testing * Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, safety standards, and testing procedures * Ability to produce clear, accurate, professional reports * Full UK driving licence * Willingness to obtain security clearance If you feel you have the necessary skills set and experience to perform this Inspection & Testing Electrical Engineer role, and you are interested in an opportunity offering unparalleled career development, please apply now
