The Modern House is looking for a WordPress Developer to help improve and maintain our existing website. We are a UK-based real estate company focused on creating high-quality digital experiences for our customers and property clients.
The main focus of this role will be improving website functionality, updating existing WordPress components, optimizing performance, and ensuring a smooth experience across desktop and mobile devices.
The developer will work with our current WordPress setup to implement frontend improvements, customize themes, manage plugins, fix technical issues, and make ongoing enhancements to the website structure.
We are looking for someone with practical experience in WordPress development, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The ideal candidate should understand how to work with existing websites, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver reliable technical solutions independently.
This is a temporary remote position with an estimated duration of 1–2 months and approximately 10–15 hours of work per week. Compensation will be provided on an hourly basis at a rate of $30 USD per hour.
Candidates from different locations are welcome, with preference given to professionals who can communicate effectively in English and have some overlap with UK working hours.
