Container Operative – Cheetham Hill
09:00–13:00 • Part‑Time • Ongoing Work
My client is a well‑established textile manufacturer based in Cheetham Hill, supplying a wide range of textile products across the UK. They are now looking to recruit reliable Container Operatives to support their busy warehouse team.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading shipping containers safely and efficiently
- Handling a wide variety of textile products
- Preparing goods for dispatch and assisting with general warehouse tasks
- Ensuring correct stacking, placement and movement of products
- Following site health & safety procedures at all times
- Supporting the warehouse team with manual labour duties as required
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 09:00 – 13:00 (4 hours per day)
- Additional hours may be available depending on workload
Requirements
- Previous experience loading and unloading containers is essential
- Good levels of communication and ability to follow instructions
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast‑paced environment
