We are seeking to appoint and develop an enthusiastic temporary full-time Teaching Assistant. This term time post is temporary to start on 1st September 2026 until 31st July 2027, subject to a probationary period.
The position is to support children with a variety of learning difficulties and some physical disabilities. A knowledge of manual handling procedures would be advantageous. Corpus Christi is an over-subscribed Catholic 11-16 mixed comprehensive school of over 1000 pupils housed in buildings on the edge of Cardiff. Examination results are well above national average.
Additional Needs provision at Corpus Christi has increased substantially in recent years and the department is continually developing. If appointed, you will join a very successful and thriving department.
