We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Worker specialising in Substance Misuse Services based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. This role offers an hourly salary of £23 per hour (Umbrella) for a full-time position of 37.5 hours over 5 days a week. This 3-month contract has the potential for extension, providing significant professional growth in the field.

What you will do:

- Support individuals in their recovery from substance misuse, offering guidance and intervention where needed.
- Manage a caseload of clients, providing keyworking sessions tailored to individual needs.
- Develop and implement personalised recovery plans in collaboration with clients, working closely with other professionals to support well-rounded care.
- Promote harm reduction and educate clients on recovery models to empower them on their paths to recovery.
- Regularly review client progress and adapt recovery plans to ensure the best outcomes.

Requirements:

- DBS on the update service.
- Proven experience in substance misuse, both drugs and alcohol.
- Strong caseload management and keyworking skills.
- Good understanding of harm reduction and recovery models.
