CNC Lathe Programmer
Masstemps Ltd are currently recruiting for a CNC Lathe Programmer on behalf of one of our busy clients in the Wolverhampton area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established precision engineering company. This is a position offering long-term stability, excellent working conditions and the opportunity to become part of a skilled manufacturing team. Hours: * Monday to Friday Day shifts
* Full-time, permanent Salary: * £15Ph - £17ph (Depending on Experience) Duties: * Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes.
* Creating and editing CNC programmes to optimise production efficiency.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Selecting the correct tooling and setting machines for production.
* Producing high-precision components to tight tolerances.
* Carrying out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks.
* Making programme adjustments to improve cycle times and maintain quality. The ideal candidate will have: * Previous experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes.
* Experience with Fanuc, Haas or similar CNC controls.
* The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Knowledge of precision engineering and machining to tight tolerances.
