A highly successful secondary school in Oxford is looking for a Computer Science Teacher to start a full-time, permanent position in January 2026 . The school welcomes applications from experienced teachers seeking progression as well as Early Career Teachers looking for a supportive, structured induction.
School Information
This large mixed secondary school, rated ‘Outstanding’ , educates approximately 1,500 students aged 11–18 and has an exceptional reputation across Oxfordshire for consistent academic excellence, a warm inclusive ethos, and well-resourced departments. The school is located close to major bus routes and has excellent transport links into Oxford and the wider county.
The Computer Science department is one of the school’s top-performing areas, benefiting from modern IT suites, specialist programming software, robotics equipment, and dedicated technical support. GCSE and A-Level results are significantly above the national average, and interest in Computer Science continues to grow each year.

Experience and Qualifications
Prior experience as a Computer Science Teacher , or PGCE/QTS equivalent
A degree in Computer Science or closely related field
Ability to teach KS3–KS5
Strong subject knowledge and passion for digital literacy
Excellent classroom practice and ability to inspire learners
Salary
Salary will be paid to scale on a direct permanent contract.
