Sales L & D Specialist - Midlands
As the L&D Sales Specialist you will provide essential support for the Managing Director, and division to which you partner with, delivering learning solutions that support business and people development. You will build and manage strong relationships across your division to ensure they understand business strategy and develop high quality learning.
You will deliver the new starter inductions, through to programmes which develop our people, both in person, and virtually. Ultimately, you will assist in improving the performance of our people, and therefore our business, ensuring an engaging learning experience for all participants.
This role offers a flexible base location within the Midlands, with responsibility for a large geographical area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering any failed Audit training and support, within the Division
- Coordinating and delivering the L&D programmes, for your business area, across all required locations
- Attending relevant meetings to support the Area Directors in the development of their people
- Engaging with and managing relationships with key stakeholders throughout your business area, to ensure that all training is delivered to the highest standard
- Working with the content creation team to create relevant training materials
- Monitoring and evaluating programme outcomes and outputs
- Maintaining an up to date awareness of industry regulations and requirements, and market trends, ensuring they are reflected in any training and development programmes delivered
- Working closely with Learning & Development colleagues, as well as business teams, you deliver training and development solutions to enable improved performance of our people and ultimately of our business
- Actively engages in coaching, training, and feedback, to improve self. Applying learning to delivery in the learning environment, whether in person, virtual, webinars, podcasts
- Supports a positive and inclusive team culture by demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and a strong work ethic
- Acts as a visible role model for learning and training
- Supports the Division in ensuring that their branches consistently follow governance and adhere to all Policies & Procedures
- When new processes, tools, and standards are introduced, ensure these are trained out robustly
- Responsibility to ensure the managers, and colleagues, in branch are knowledgeable and effective in creating a Right First Time environment, and passing their audits
- Creates an environment where colleagues consistently deliver Customer Excellence and live the Connells Group HOUSE values in every interaction.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Confident, professional, with a passion for delivering exceptional training, focused around customer excellence, driving market share, driving opportunities.
- Proactive and solution focused, with high levels of integrity and accountability
- Practical Estate Agency knowledge, with an understanding of industry regulations and standards (e.g., AML/CTF, GDPR, DMCC Act, H&S) and how they apply across branches
- Knowledge and experience of delivering training in the business area required
- Experience in a learning and development function delivering to a range of contexts and audiences
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team
- A working knowledge of all Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
