Assistant Service Manager – Kia Castleford

As Assistant Service Manager, you’ll support the Aftersales Manager in leading a busy aftersales department, helping the team deliver strong results and an outstanding experience for every customer.

You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the department, supporting colleagues, planning workshop activity and maintaining brand standards.

As Assistant Service Manager, Your Day-to-day Will Include

• Leading and coaching the service team to deliver excellent customer care and achieve departmental objectives.
• Managing workshop bookings, job card preparation and workflow to make the best use of available capacity and minimise repeat visits.
• Supporting the Aftersales Manager with labour sales, profitability, customer feedback and team performance.
• Maintaining brand standards, warranty processes and a safe, well-organised working environment.

What we’re looking for in an Assistant Service Manager:

We’re looking for a confident, customer-focused leader with a strong understanding of how an automotive service department operates.

• Experience leading or coaching a team in a service or aftersales environment; Senior Service Advisor experience would be an advantage.
• The ability to balance customer experience, workshop efficiency and commercial results.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence using dealership systems; Kerridge experience would be an advantage.
• A full UK driving licence with no excessive penalty points.
