The Role As an HGV C+E Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for transporting sludge products from Northumbrian Water's sewage treatment works across the North East to treatment facilities. - Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
- Ensuring compliance with Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive and O-Licence requirements
- Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and defect reporting in line with DVSA standards
- Maintaining a clean, safe and compliant vehicle at all times
- Safely loading and unloading tanker equipment in accordance with Northumbrian Water Health & Safety procedures
- Promoting and supporting the "Everyone Home Safe Everyday" culture
- Driving in a fuel-efficient and environmentally responsible manner
- Delivering excellent service whilst representing Northumbrian Water professionally
- Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of EU Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive
- Strong commitment to health, safety and compliance
