Employment Opportunity: Athletic Trainer
Location: Union High School – Rimersburg, Pennsylvania
Position Type: Full-Time

Union School District is seeking a dedicated and highly qualified
Athletic Trainer to serve at Union High School. The successful candidate will provide injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services to student-athletes while promoting health, safety, and wellness across all athletic programs.
- Certified by the Board of Certification (BOC)
- Licensed as an Athletic Trainer in Pennsylvania
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or related field
- Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications
- Required clearances:
- Act 114 – FBI Fingerprint Clearance
- Act 168 – Sexual Misconduct Disclosure
- Act 34 – State Police Clearance
- Act 151 – Child Abuse Clearance
- Up to date on Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Provide on-site injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for student-athletes
- Maintain accurate medical and injury documentation
- Communicate and collaborate with coaches, school nurses, and physicians regarding student health and safety
- Ensure compliance with PIAA and district athletic policies
- Foster a positive, student-centered athletic environment focused on safety and performance
