Exciting Opportunity: EYFS Teacher Needed in Wandsworth...
A fantastic primary school based in Wandsworth is seeking a proactive and emotionally intelligent EYFS teacher to join their team starting November 2024.
The children are curious, energetic, and eager to learn, and the staff here aim to nurture confident, independent, and well-rounded pupils through a caring and supportive pastoral environment. As a result, we are seeking an EYFS teacher who knows how to create engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons that foster a love of learning.

Responsibilities of an EYFS Teacher:
- As an EYFS teacher , you will be responsible for the pastoral care of young children taking their first steps in their educational journey, promoting teamwork and creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment.
- Teaching the EYFS curriculum to groups of children, focusing on each child’s developmental needs, encouraging their strengths, and addressing their areas for growth.
- Developing foundational literacy and numeracy skills through play-based and structured activities.
- Supporting children's social and emotional development, helping them build positive relationships and confidence.
- Monitoring children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents to ensure they are aware of their child’s development.

Suitable Applicants Must Have:
- Relevant qualifications, including EYFS teaching experience.
- Be able to commute to Wandsworth via public transport.
- Experience working within EYFS and delivering a high-quality curriculum.
- The confidence to proactively lead a class and manage behaviour in line with school policies.
