Senior Engineer

Senior Engineer – Reinforced Concrete Basements Tottenham House, Marlborough Long-Term Contract | Minimum 18 Months We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join a prestigious heritage redevelopment project at Tottenham House, Marlborough. This is a unique opportunity to work on a landmark scheme involving complex structural works, with a particular focus on reinforced concrete basement construction. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering critical elements of the project, working alongside a highly experienced site and management team. Key Responsibilities

• Managing and overseeing reinforced concrete works, with a strong emphasis on basement construction.
• Setting out and ensuring works are delivered accurately and to specification.
• Coordinating subcontractors and site teams to maintain programme targets.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical information.
• Ensuring quality assurance procedures and inspections are completed.
• Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs, and associated engineering documentation.
• Liaising with project managers, designers, and client representatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on large-scale civil engineering or construction projects.
• Extensive experience in reinforced concrete structures, particularly basement construction.
• Strong setting out and surveying capabilities.
• Excellent understanding of QA procedures and engineering documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple work fronts and coordinate site teams effectively.
• Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent).
• CSCS Card and SMSTS preferred.
