Johnson & Johnson MedTech seeks an Inside & Virtual Sales Specialist to drive lead generation and customer support for the Wound Closure & Healing portfolio across the UK. The role combines remote inside sales (70–80%) targeting new prospects with virtual account management (20–30%) serving existing customers, focusing on surgical wound closure solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting via calls and emails to generate trial opportunities for field sales teams
- Research and qualify leads using CRM, industry networks, and professional channels
- Manage virtual customer relationships, addressing account queries and backorder issues
- Develop and execute business plans for assigned customer base across surgical specialities
- Collaborate with marketing and field teams to deliver qualified leads and maintain accurate activity records
Requirements
- Proven inside sales or lead generation experience in medical devices or healthcare
- Strong prospecting, qualification, and pipeline management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- CRM system proficiency and digital sales tool competency
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Knowledge of surgical products or NHS/private healthcare procurement preferred
