Fire and Security Install Engineer - £40k | Door-to-Door Travel | No Call-Out

Location of Works: Leicester & Surrounding Areas (Projects across Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, with occasional travel to Norwich, Telford & Birmingham)

Salary Bracket: £35,000 - £40,000 per year (DOE)

On-Target Earnings (OTE): £45,000+ with Overtime

About Our Customer

We are partnered with a well-established, independently-owned Fire & Security company, trading for well over two decades and serving clients across all industries and sectors throughout the Midlands and surrounding counties. They hold recognised industry accreditations and have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire alarm installations across commercial and residential projects. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit a Fire-biased Install Engineer to join their experienced installation team. The majority of work is based across the Midlands, offering engineers excellent earning potential and a healthy work-life balance.

Salary and Benefits - Fire and Security Install Engineer

* £35,000 - £40,000 basic salary (DOE)
* OTE of £45,000+ with overtime
* Company van provided (personal use available)
* Door-to-door travel paid
* Overtime available as required
* Time and a half after 8 hours
* Double time on Saturdays and Sundays
* No call-out rota
* 22 days holiday + Bank Holidays
* Holiday entitlement increases by 1 day per year (up to 25 days)
* Six-monthly company social events
* Supportive and friendly working environment
* Ongoing training with the opportunity to develop commissioning and security installation skills

Key Responsibilities - Fire and Security Install Engineer

* Install fire alarm systems across commercial and domestic sites
* Carry out occasional installation of security systems
* Work with leading manufacturers including Advanced, Kentec and Morley
* Assist with basic commissioning when required
* Ensure all installations comply with current industry standards and regulations
* Work independently and as part of an installation team
* Complete work to a consistently high standard while maintaining excellent customer service

Skills & Experience - Fire and Security Install Engineer

* Proven experience installing fire alarm systems
* Fire-biased Engineer or Fire-only Engineer considered
* Experience with Advanced, Kentec and/or Morley systems
* Security installation experience beneficial but not essential
* Full UK driving licence
* Based in or around Leicester or happy to travel across the Midlands
* Eager to learn and develop additional skills
