About the Role

As an Engineering Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our state-of-the-art, automated Customer Fulfilment Centre in Erith. You'll be the first line of response for engineering faults, working quickly and effectively to diagnose and resolve issues that could impact performance. Alongside reactive maintenance, you’ll carry out planned servicing and repairs to keep our equipment in top condition, while also getting involved in proactive improvement projects to enhance reliability and efficiency. This is a hands-on role where you'll work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, high-tech environment

You will work a shift pattern to support our 24/7 operation, consisting of 12 hour shifts across days, nights and weekends.

About you

Are you the one we’re looking for? Here’s what makes a great Engineering Technician candidate:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Qualifications: Level 2 BTEC/NVQ in engineering (or equivalent) preferred; Level 3 or higher is a bonus.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of automation hardware/software or working knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems, and conveyors is advantageous.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to diagnose and solve issues effectively.
• Key Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work and share knowledge.
