Nanny-Housekeeper

Full-time
Lebanese-Speaking Nanny / Family Assistant – Singapore + International Travel

- Days and hours: Up to 50 hours per week, exact schedule TBC
- Start date: Flexible, by December latest
- Children: 3, 5 and 9 years-old
- Salary: SGD 100,000–120,000 gross per annum, plus separate accommodation, relocation and international travel expenses.

A warm international family relocating from Australia to Singapore is looking for an experienced Lebanese-speaking Nanny / Family Assistant to support their three children, aged 3, 5 and 9.
The family is looking for someone warm, engaging, flexible and culturally aware who can become a trusted long-term part of their family life.
This is very much a partnership role. Both parents are highly involved in their children's day-to-day lives and want to remain hands-on. They are not looking for someone to take over or replace their involvement, but rather for a trusted person who can work alongside them and become a natural extension of the family.
The family also values its privacy and prefers a home that is not heavily staffed, so personality and fit will be particularly important. The successful candidate should be comfortable working collaboratively with involved parents, know when to step in and equally when to give the family space.
A key element of the position will be maintaining and developing the children's Arabic. The children already speak English, Croatian and Arabic, and the family would like Arabic to continue being incorporated naturally into their everyday lives alongside their existing lessons.
The two older children will attend school and the youngest will attend nursery. During the day, the role may therefore include practical household support and light housekeeping, with the focus moving to the children after school and nursery. Alternatively, the family may choose to employ a separate domestic helper in Singapore, allowing the nanny to focus predominantly on the children and their Arabic development.
The position will also involve international travel with the family, including destinations such as Dubai, New York and Europe, so someone who genuinely enjoys travelling and can offer the children consistency wherever the family is based is essential.
The family's schedule in Singapore is still being established, so flexibility will be particularly important during the initial relocation period.
Separate accommodation in Singapore and a relocation package will be provided.
We would be particularly interested in candidates with previous international/private household experience and a strong understanding of Lebanese culture and family life.
