Job description and person specification
Job title: Personal Assistant
Reporting to: Jennifer
Location: LS27 area
Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable / assist Jennifer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer:
Jennifer needs support so she can manage moving around in her wheelchair, Autism, Asthma, ADHD, depression and various other diagnoses.
Main Duties:
Medication management, including ordering repeat prescriptions
Working around the catheter
Full support with finances and administration
Reading documentation and following up
Attending appointments and taking notes
24-hour care for one week in June to attend a heavy metal festival, (Download Festival)
Gardening
The shift can be split into either 6/6 hours or 8/4 hours
Food & drink preparation
Domestic duties
Personal care
Pet care
Support in going shopping

Specific Requirements:

What you expect to receive:
Induction and support will be given, daily specifics and timings are listed and training will be provided where needed.
Hours of work:
Monday through to Sunday. Up to 88 hours per week split between 2 or 3 PAs
Rate of Pay:
Monday – Friday: £13.23
Saturday & Sunday: £16.54
