A global media business is currently seeking to hire a Tax Manager into their London tax team. This rare opportunity will offer broad international exposure, with an equal split between advisory and compliance work. With a fairly small team, this position will be largely autonomous; reporting directly into the Head of Tax.
This role will be based 1 day per week in their brand new offices in Central London.
Responsibilities:
- Management of UK and International tax compliance, reviewing returns prepared by external advisors
- Tax reporting under IFRS on a half yearly basis, inclusive of deferred tax
- Take ownership of tax provisioning for the group on a quarterly basis
- Manage relations with UK and international tax advisers and authorities
- Support the Head of Tax with international tax advice working hand in hand with the wider finance team
Requirements:
- ACA/CTA qualified from a Top Tier practice, with 1-3 years PQE
- A good background in UK corporation tax, with exposure to international tax highly beneficial
- An eagerness to people manage and take responsibility for the analysts CPD
