This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Truck Driver, Rigid Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver or Store Delivery Driver .

- £18.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Safely operating and driving Class 2 vehicles to customer and delivery locations - Completing loading and unloading duties safely and efficiently - Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects - Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork and records - Adhering to all road traffic legislation and transport regulations - Communicating effectively with dispatch teams, customers and site staff - Completing deliveries safely and professionally - Some handball may be required
Essential Skills
To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:
- A valid UK Category C Driving Licence - A valid UK CPC Qualification Card - A valid Digital Tachograph Card - No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD or CD endorsements) - A reliable, professional and punctual attitude - Good communication and customer service skills - A good understanding of road safety and transport compliance - The ability to work effectively with a Driver's Mate
Desirable Experience
- Previous commercial Class 2 driving experience - Previous multi-drop delivery experience - Experience handling large or bulky goods - Strong customer-facing delivery experience
Training Provided
- Full industry-related training provided - Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
