We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy Team at The Harborne Hospital in Birmingham.

As a key member of the Pharmacy Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-focused pharmacy services, ensuring the safe, effective and efficient management of medicines across the hospital. You will support the delivery of core pharmacy operations, including dispensary services, medicines management, procurement, stock control, medicines distribution, ward top-up services and patient services, helping to ensure the highest standards are consistently maintained.

Working closely with the Lead Pharmacy Technician and wider pharmacy team, you will contribute to the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of pharmacy operations, supporting the ongoing development of services to meet the needs of patients, consultants and clinical teams.

You will also contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives, including participation in audits, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and supporting relevant Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs) and clinical governance activities. In addition, you will play an important role in supporting and mentoring Pharmacy Assistants and Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians, helping to foster a positive learning environment within the department.

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with GPhC
• Previous experience working within a hospital pharmacy environment
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
