Accounts Assistant

Our client is seeking to appoint an Accounts Assistant to its busy and vibrant practice

Duties for the Accounts Assistant:

-maintain bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clients using standard accounting software

-process invoices, bank reconciliations, journals and VAT returns

-assist with month and year end bookkeeping and management reporting

-support clients with day to day bookkeeping queries

-support with Accounts preparation

Experience for the Accounts Assistant:

-current UK mainstream accountancy Firm experience

-AAT qualified/ part qualified

-experience of bookkeeping software including cloud software

-organised with excellent attention to detail

-experience of double entry

-familiarity of VAT schemes

-experience of volume processing

-knowledge of Accounts preparation
