A well-respected school in Kensington seeks a part-time, permanent Design & Technology (DT) Technician to join its dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to make a real difference by supporting teachers and students in the exploration of practical skills and design principles. The successful candidate will ideally be available to start in September.

About the Role:

• You will work collaboratively with DT teachers to prepare resources and maintain a safe and well-equipped workshop environment.
• You will provide technical support to students during practical lessons, ensuring they have the tools and guidance needed to succeed.
• You will assist with the maintenance and repair of DT equipment.
• You may be involved in the development and implementation of new DT initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Possesses a relevant qualification in Design & Technology, Engineering, or a similar field (desirable).
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of health and safety regulations within a workshop environment.
• Has excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Maintains a patient and supportive demeanor when working with students.
• Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being.
