CNC Setter Operator A manufacturing company in Coventry is seeking an experienced CNC Setter Operator with strong CNC turning expertise. You'll be responsible for setting and operating CNC turning machines to produce high‑precision components. Milling knowledge is desirable. Key Responsibilities CNC machine setting set and operate CNC turning machines from engineering drawings Precision quality control ensure components meet tight tolerances and quality standards Routine machine maintenance complete daily checks and basic maintenance Process monitoring monitor machining processes and adjust to optimise output Cross‑functional collaboration work with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues Workplace safety maintain a clean and safe working environment Requirements CNC turning experience proven background in a precision engineering environment CNC setting capability confident in setting and operating CNC lathes Technical drawing interpretation ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Attention to detail strong focus on accuracy and quality Tooling and machining knowledge understanding of tooling and machining processes Desirable milling skills experience or familiarity with CNC Milling is advantageous If you're an experienced CNC Setter Operator looking for a long‑term opportunity in a high‑precision environment, apply today and we'll be in touch to discuss the next steps.
