About the Role

As ECT Maths Teacher, you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that build students’ confidence, fluency and reasoning. You will be supported to teach a well-sequenced curriculum that develops:

Secure mathematical foundations through clear explanation and careful modelling
Fluency and accuracy through purposeful practice and regular retrieval
Reasoning and problem-solving skills through structured questioning and guided application
Confidence with mathematical vocabulary and methods across a broad range of topics
Exam confidence through deliberate practice, feedback and consistent classroom routines

Students study a broad range of topics including number, algebra, ratio, geometry, statistics and probability, with a strong focus on building secure understanding and preparing effectively for GCSE success.
