We are looking for talented Occupational Therapists to join our team for a temporary two-month contract. You'll be working full time, 37 hours a week, from 12th August 2026. What you will do

* Conduct comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments in service users' homes to evaluate functional ability, independence, and environmental risks.
* Develop personalised care and support plans tailored to individual needs, recommending suitable equipment, adaptations, and interventions.
* Perform moving and handling assessments as necessary to support safe discharge and promote independent living outcomes.
* Work collaboratively with service users, families, and carers, guiding them towards achieving agreed-upon goals.
* Independently manage a specialist Occupational Therapy caseload, ensuring the highest standards of practice.
* Participate in multidisciplinary working and case discussions to offer well-rounded care.
* Provide supervision and guidance to Occupational Therapy Assistants, contributing to their professional growth.
* Contribute to service development activities and ensure practice aligns with current legislation, policy, and evidence-based guidance.
* Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical records.

Qualifications and experience required

* Qualified Occupational Therapist with social care experience.
* Proven track record in completing holistic assessments and managing an independent caseload.
* Experience in a Long Term Team or Adult Social Care setting is advantageous but not essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Knowledge of equipment and adaptation provision and the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.

Desirable

* Previous Local Authority experience and experience supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants.
* Knowledge of relevant Adult Social Care legislation and complex case management.
