Secondary ICT/AI Teacher

Al Rabeeh Academy is seeking an experienced and passionate ICT/AI Specialist Teacher to join our dynamic, high-performing team from August 2026.

As an ICT / AI Specialist Teacher in an international British curriculum school, you will play a key role in leading high-quality teaching, learning, and innovation across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including GCSE and A-Level ICT/Computer Science, where applicable. You will inspire students and staff through engaging, practical, and future-focused digital learning experiences, promoting excellence in ICT, artificial intelligence, digital literacy, computational thinking, and problem-solving. You will support the integration of emerging technologies across the curriculum, drive innovation in teaching and learning, and create a supportive, inclusive environment where all learners are challenged, empowered, and prepared for success in an evolving digital world.

We are seeking an ICT / AI Specialist Teacher who can:

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with British curriculum standards, with the ability to teach ICT/Computer Science up to at least GCSE level (A-Level desirable), while also promoting the understanding and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence in education.

• Model strong digital literacy, computational thinking, AI awareness, and problem-solving skills through creative, practical, and technology-rich teaching approaches.

• Integrate AI tools and emerging technologies into teaching and learning to enhance student engagement, innovation, and future-ready skills.

• Use a range of formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor, track, and support student progress and attainment in ICT, Computer Science, and digital competencies.

• Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental development, and the creation of high-quality, relevant, and up-to-date teaching and learning resources, including AI-focused initiatives.

• Lead and support whole-school digital transformation by promoting innovative uses of technology and AI across the wider curriculum.

• Support the academic and pastoral well-being of students, promoting the school’s values, routines, digital citizenship, and high expectations for learning and behaviour.

• Build strong, positive relationships with parents through clear communication regarding student progress, achievement, digital development, and next steps.

• Participate actively in school events, enrichment opportunities, AI and digital innovation initiatives, professional development, and wider whole-school activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

Applicants must:

• Be a fluent English speaker

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject with PGCE / QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).

• Experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting.

• Strong classroom management skills and commitment to student wellbeing.

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
