We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled MET Technician to join our growing team and work with state-of-the-art equipment, the latest repair technology and manufacturer-approved processes.
We are offering a £35,000 basic salary with an OTE of up to £50,000 , depending on experience, along with an excellent benefits package and a 42.5-hour working week .
About the Role
As a MET Technician, you will play a vital role in the accident repair process, carrying out a wide range of mechanical, electrical and trim repairs to ensure vehicles are returned to customers in pre-accident condition.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (MET) repair and replacement work
- Removal and refitting of vehicle components
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
- Working to manufacturer, industry and insurance standards
- Ensuring all repairs are completed safely and efficiently within agreed timescales
- Liaising with colleagues to ensure parts are ordered and available when required
- Maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Delivering outstanding levels of customer satisfaction through quality repairs
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a MET Technician within a bodyshop or accident repair environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality repairs
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment
- A full UK driving licence
- IMI accreditation or equivalent qualification (desirable)
