About The Role
We are enthusiastic that our Revenue Management team in Cheltenham has another opportunity for someone to join us in the role of Credit Controller . This team is a fundamental part of HCR, and supports our 13 offices across England and Wales.
The purpose of the role is to help maintain an effective and professional credit control system for the company, all while fostering existing relationships with our clients.
Duties will include
- Assisting in achieving monthly cash collection targets
- Liaising directly with clients on outstanding and overdue balances
- Ensure accurate records are kept of all conversations/communications with clients
- Production of monthly statements & letters
- Liaise with departments in order to ensure that they are kept informed of progress on payments
- Assist in the suspending of bills procedure where instructed and appropriate
- Assist in the management of instalment payments checking that they are received as agreed and chase when instalments are missed
- Assist in the process of how debts are passed to our Debt Recovery team where appropriate
About You
You will need
- Experienced using Excel ideally at an intermediate level
- Adaptable and professional telephone etiquette
- Proficient using Outlook
- Confident communication skills
- Client focused
- Calm and solution driven
- Previous experience within professional services environment would be advantageous
