Description
- Processing purchase invoices
- Raising sales invoices
- Journal entries
- Prepare invoices for payment.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
- Producing the trial balance
- Running the weekly and monthly payroll including pensions and HMRC.
- Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the accounting team with ad hoc tasks as required.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data.
Profile
A Successful Book-keeper Should Have
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Experience in the transport and distribution industry is advantageous.
Job Offer
- Hourly pay ranging from £16.00 to £20.00, depending on experience.
