About the role
We are recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a well-established school in Somerset, providing support to students with Autism and complex learning needs. Some pupils also have additional sensory, physical, medical, social or emotional needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will help deliver engaging lessons covering Numeracy, Literacy, Life Skills and Personal Development. Daily duties for Teaching Assistant * Support classroom teaching and learning. * Support creative Art and play lessons, as well as outdoor activities. * Help students overcome barriers to success. * Build positive relationships with students and families. * Contribute to planning, assessment and school improvement. Requirements for Teaching Assistant * Previous experience working with children. * A valid DBS. * A motivated and hardworking attitude.
