An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and compassionate Graduate SEN TA to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Basingstoke. This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience supporting children with additional needs while exploring a future career in education, psychology, speech and language therapy, or mental health support.
The successful Graduate SEN TA will become part of a dedicated team focused on helping every child succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

The Role

Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN
* Assist with classroom activities and targeted intervention programmes
* Support pupils' communication, social skills, and emotional wellbeing
* Help create an inclusive and positive learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals
* Encourage pupils to develop confidence and independence
Candidate Requirements
The ideal Graduate SEN TA will have:
* A degree in Psychology, Education, Sociology, or a related subject
* A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive and patient approach to working with young people
* The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* An interest in pursuing a long-term career within education or support services
