H&S Advisor

This is a great opportunity for an experienced HSE Advisor to join a main contractor on Hinckley Point. This role in particular is based onsite at Hinckley Point C working on civils/roads/utilities Our client is looking for a HSE Advisor to join them working on the Civil Engineering aspects of the project an will involve working on shore and offshore. This is an initial 6 month contract, with the opportunity to potentially extend beyond this. This role falls inside IR35. Package offered for this HSE Advisor role:

• Up to £530 per day
• Inside IR35
• 6 month initial contract with potential for future extension

Key responsibilities for this HSE Advisor role: Offer daily technical advice and support on all health and safety issues risk-based monitoring Promote and enforce H&S Standards Risk based inspection and audits to assess health and safety performance. Develop health and safety risk profiles Ensure compliance and Reviews Conducts inspections, manage accident investigations and maintain records and reports. Provide training, briefing and information on the H&S management system Work collaboratively with other safety, health and environmental professionals Experience required for this HSE Advisor role: Experience in a similar role. Ideally Civils/Utilities/Roads experience Some flexibility required working some nights etc as and when required Hold a minimum NEBOSH certificate or equivalent Able to deliver internal H&S management courses Advise on health and safety issues on a day to day basis on site Conduct standard accident investigations on site Able to write site inspection reports and audit reports As this is working onsite security clearance will needed to obtain
