This temporary Operations Manager/Director role in Sheffield is all about overseeing and improving daily operations within the industrial sector. You'll play a key part in ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the success of the organisation. Client Details An organisation operating within the industrial manufacturing sector in the Sheffield area. Description The interim Operations Manager/Director is responsible for ensuring the optimal running of this manufacturing site. Responsibilities include: Head up a team of c.60 people across manufacturing, engineering, distribution and installation Recruit, train, coach and develop this team to perform to the best of their abilities Help to install a new ERP system to improve business capability Develop and monitor a suite of KPIs to enable business success Review manufacturing procedures to drive efficiencies, costs, quality and delivery Profile The successful Operations Manager/Director should have: Proven experience in an Operational Leadership role within the industrial manufacturing sector. Strong leadership and decision-making skills. Ability to analyse data and implement actionable strategies. Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Proficiency in managing cross-departmental workflows. Availability to start a new role immediately.Job Offer Daily rate of £(Apply online only)/day dependent on the level of experience, inside IR35..
