Are you a qualified Vehicle Mechanic with experience working on heavy-duty vehicles and complex mechanical systems? The Role:

As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will carry out maintenance, servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs on a range of heavy military vehicles and associated equipment. You will play a vital role in ensuring vehicles remain operational, safe, and ready to meet demanding operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Service, maintain, diagnose, and repair heavy vehicles and associated systems.
* Carry out fault-finding on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.
* Conduct vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance activities.
* Follow engineering instructions, technical publications, and repair procedures.
* Complete maintenance records, inspection reports, and supporting documentation.
* Ensure all work is completed in accordance with quality, safety, and operational standards.
* Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to the highest standards.

Must have requirements:

* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance, Vehicle Service & Repair, Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, or a related mechanical discipline - this is a mandatory requirement.
* Proven experience maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing heavy-duty vehicles, HGVs, military vehicles, plant machinery, agricultural machinery, or similar equipment.
* Strong mechanical aptitude with experience of hydraulic and vehicle systems.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
* Must be able to successfully pass a DBS and Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) security check.
