What you will do:

Produce high-quality sections for H&E staining, ranging from simple single full face sections to complex biopsies requiring multiple levels and sections, such as serials.
Skillfully operate a semi-automated rotary microtome to prepare sections from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded blocks.
Maintain a keen attention to detail and quality while achieving KPIs of 160 to 200 blocks per day, depending on block complexity.
Demonstrate self-motivation and concentration in periods of intense focus, while leveraging your excellent communication skills to adapt quickly to departmental microtomy and sectioning procedures.
Engage in thorough training provided by the in-house team to seamlessly integrate into the department's specific workflow.

Requirements:

You must have HCPC registration.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in Histology is required.
Being a car driver is preferable for ease of commuting between sites.
