Associate, Clinical Logistics

Gilead Sciences seeks a Clinical Logistics Associate to manage end-to-end cell therapy logistics for pivotal clinical trials, coordinating patient enrollment, apheresis collection, manufacturing tracking, and product delivery. The role ensures chain of custody integrity and serves as the primary contact for logistics status across clinical sites, manufacturing, and third-party couriers.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end cell therapy logistics including enrollment readiness, site training, and participant registration in digital systems
• Coordinate apheresis collection, transport to manufacturing, and track chain of identity and custody throughout the process
• Manage cell orders and critical supply inventory including apheresis kits and liquid nitrogen dewars for trial sites
• Monitor manufacturing status and final product delivery, communicating timelines and resolving delays with manufacturing and clinical teams
• Generate customs documentation and coordinate with global trade compliance on cross-border shipments

Requirements

• Experience with clinical trial logistics or supply chain operations
• Proficiency with ERP systems, Salesforce platforms, or similar digital logistics tools
• Strong organizational skills managing multiple concurrent shipments and timelines
• Knowledge of customs regulations and cross-border pharmaceutical transportation
• Ability to travel for site initiation visits and dry runs as needed
• Excellent communication skills across clinical, manufacturing, and external partners
