Contracts Manager - Solar EPC (Renewable Energy)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional for a permanent, onsite position in the United Kingdom.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our solar projects through expert contract management and strategic oversight.

Key Responsibilities: • Negotiate, and draft comprehensive EPC contracts, ensuring alignment with project requirements, commercial objectives, and legal compliance.

• Manage, all contractual aspects of solar EPC projects from inception through to completion, including change orders, claims, and dispute resolution.

• Oversee, procurement processes, ensuring adherence to contractual terms and conditions and effective supplier management.

• Implement, robust risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.

• Collaborate, closely with project finance teams to ensure contractual terms support optimal financial performance and cost control.

• Maintain, strong client relations by providing clear and timely communication regarding contractual matters and project progress.

• Lead, and mentor a team of contract specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications: • A Bachelor of Engineering, degree.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, in contract management, specifically within the EPC or renewable energy sectors.

• Proven expertise in Contract Negotiation, EPC Contracts, Solar Project Finance, Risk Management, Legal Compliance, Procurement Management, Cost Control, Schedule Management, and Client Relations,.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Contract Drafting and managing FIDIC Contracts,.

• Strong Team Leadership, and interpersonal skills, coupled with exceptional Communication and Problem-Solving abilities.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite,.

Preferred Qualifications: • NEC3 Accreditation,.

• Completion of FIDIC Contracts Training,.

• An IoD Certificate in Company Direction,.

• Fluency in additional languages, though English proficiency is essential.
