GR Employment Ltd is recruiting for a Courier Driver on behalf of one of our customers in Exeter, Exeter Logistics Park area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily delivery and collection of shipments to and from customers. This role is essential in upholding the company’s values and ethos, delivering service with speed, passion, and a can-do attitude. You will be expected to provide excellent customer service, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure. We’re looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking consistent work with a bit of flexibility built in. Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 8 AM start (however, the starting time may vary) Hourly Rate: £14.73 per hour Shift Premium: Extra £2.80 per hour after 7.00 pmSaturday Premium: Extra £1.22 per hour
Sunday Premium: Extra £2.27 per hour Job Responsibilities As a courier driver, you will be measured upon customer satisfaction and completed time definite deliveries and collections. As a frontline representative for the company, you will be required to complete all tasks in a customer focused manner. You will be required to demonstrate excellent planning and organization skills to prioritise work in order to meet customer’s requirements. You will work on an assigned geographical route, however, may be asked to change your route from time to time to meet business needs. Scanning and working quickly and efficiently to ensure warehouse deadlines are met, excellent planning and organizational skills and the ability to make good decisions and work under pressure Job Qualifications Full UK driving license Experience in a multi drop courier role would be preferred but not essential
Security Training will be given when required For insurance purposes, you must be at least 21 years old and have no more than 9 penalty points on your driving licence within the last 3 years Security checks: As this role is based within a major UK airport, all applicants will be required to complete pre-employment screening in accordance with aviation security regulations.
