Salary: Competitive, DOE An innovative biotech start-up working in the field of Synthetic and Molecular Biology is looking for a Lab Operations and Business Support Manager to join and support the team. As an early-stage company, we are building a high-performing team that thrives on innovation, collaboration and solving complex scientific challenges. We're looking for a highly organised, proactive and adaptable Laboratory Operations & Business Support Manager to help establish and oversee the operational organisation of the business and provide support to the CEO in the development and growth of the organisation.

- Human Resources
- Degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences, Business Operations or a related discipline.
- Previous experience supporting laboratory operations in a biotechnology or life sciences environment preferably within a startup environment.
- Experience managing procurement and supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of laboratory health & safety and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Strong administrative capability with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based business tools.
- Familiarity with grant-funded research environments.
- Experience supporting HR onboarding and office management
