Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
As an Apprentice 360 Recruitment Consultant at DriveStaff Recruitment Ltd, you will receive direct 1-1 training and mentoring from the Founder & Director, giving you a unique opportunity to learn recruitment the right way from the very top of the business. You will be trained across the complete recruitment cycle and gradually take responsibility for your own candidates, vacancies and client relationships.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-growing, ambitious recruitment business, where you will have the opportunity to learn quickly, take on responsibility early, and grow alongside the company as it continues to expand.
Your duties will include:
- Advertising vacancies across job boards, social media and candidate databases.
- Searching for and identifying suitable candidates for temporary and permanent vacancies.
- Contacting candidates by telephone, email, SMS and WhatsApp.
- Screening candidates and conducting initial telephone interviews.
- Understanding candidates' experience, qualifications, availability and employment requirements.
- Registering and onboarding new candidates.
- Obtaining and checking required documentation.
- Supporting right-to-work and recruitment compliance processes.
- Maintaining accurate candidate and client records on recruitment systems.
- Matching suitable candidates to client vacancies.
- Creating candidate profiles and presenting suitable candidates to clients.
- Booking temporary workers onto assignments and confirming their working arrangements.
- Maintaining regular communication with candidates throughout assignments.
- Obtaining feedback from both candidates and clients.
- Supporting payroll and timesheet administration where required.
- Building relationships with existing clients and understanding their ongoing recruitment requirements.
- Identifying new business opportunities.
- Making outbound business development calls to prospective clients.
- Following up leads and introducing DriveStaff's recruitment services.
- Supporting client meetings and account reviews.
- Developing your own client relationships as your experience grows.
- Working towards agreed recruitment, candidate and business-development targets.
- Maintaining high standards of candidate care, communication and compliance at all times.
The role will develop as the apprentice gains knowledge, confidence, and commercial awareness. The long-term objective is for the successful candidate to develop into a fully capable 360 Recruitment Consultant who can independently manage the entire recruitment process from winning new business through to sourcing, placing, and managing candidates.
This is a rare opportunity to join a rapidly growing recruitment company at an early stage, where your development will be directly supported by senior leadership, and your progression will be based on performance, attitude, and ambition.
You will receive structured apprenticeship training alongside practical, hands-on experience within a busy recruitment agency, including direct access to the Director and side-by-side training and mentoring from the Managing Director. For someone who is ambitious and willing to learn, there will be opportunities to progress into a fully-fledged Recruitment Consultant position and develop a long-term career within DriveStaff.
